Sneaky sneaky Sugar!!
You don’t have to be a nutritionist to know that ice cream, cakes and brownies are loaded with sugar. But what about the less obvious sources of the stuff?
Did you know that advertised branded ‘healthy LOW FAT’ fruit yogurt and a granola bar can add up to nearly 30 grams of sugar? And dried fruit may sound healthy, but just 1/3 cup can have as much as 25 grams, and that is not all naturally occurring from the fruit itself. I Wont get into naturally occurring sugar now lol.
Make sure to read the labels when buying packaged foods at the supermarket – especially in sauces and dressings! Some of the well know brands, celebrity endorsed products are the highest.
